Legal notice

Who is behind this site, how it's funded, what you can do with its content and which rules apply. Spain's Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) requires it and, besides, it's only fair: if you're going to read about money, you have a right to know who's telling you and who pays them.

Who the owner is

In compliance with Article 10 of Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE), these are the details of the party responsible for the website criptoadictoyoutube.com:

ItemDetails
OwnerCripto Adicto (to be completed)
Tax ID (NIF)[to be completed]
Address[to be completed]
Email[to be completed]
Websitecriptoadictoyoutube.com
ActivityOfficial educational website of the YouTube channel Cripto Adicto (@Cripto_Adicto), funded through affiliate links

Email is the direct channel for any question, error report or complaint. Publishing this site doesn't require prior administrative authorization (Article 6 of the LSSI-CE), and its content is neither an investment service nor a crypto-asset service.

What this site is for

It's the official website of Cripto Adicto, my YouTube channel @Cripto_Adicto. It brings together educational content about crypto (guides, news, a glossary and explainers), organized into the security, exchanges and cryptocurrencies sections, plus a blog and the channel's videos, which you can watch right here without leaving the page. The videos and the blog are in Spanish.

What you won't find: user registration, comments, forms, a newsletter or a shop. I don't sell anything directly here or manage anyone's money. There are affiliate links, always labeled as advertising; the next section explains how they work.

Everything about your data is in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

Affiliate links and advertising

This site is funded through affiliate links. As of October 17, 2026 I have agreements with three companies:

  • OKX, a crypto exchange. I link to its European entity, OKX Europe Ltd, authorized by Malta's MFSA under MiCA and passported to provide services in Spain.
  • Ledger, a hardware wallet maker. I link to its official store.
  • Trezor, a hardware wallet maker. I link to its official store.

How to spot them. Pages that contain affiliate links show an “Advertising” notice at the top, and every offer box carries the “Advertising” label and a note next to the button. In the code, those links carry the rel="sponsored" attribute, which is how you tell search engines that a link is paid. I do it this way because Spanish law requires commercial communications to be clearly identifiable as such (Article 20 of the LSSI-CE) and treats covert advertising as unfair (Article 26 of the Unfair Competition Act).

What it means for you. If you open an account or buy through one of those links, the company may pay me a commission. It costs you nothing extra: you pay the same as if you went straight to its website.

What doesn't change. Commissions don't decide my conclusions. I recommend those brands for criteria I explain in each guide (the license of the specific entity, security record, real fees and ease of use from Spain) and I also cover their weak spots, such as the penalties OKX received in 2025 or the customer data leaks at Ledger and Trezor. I don't link to exchanges without a MiCA license that can't operate in Spain, such as Binance or Bitget.

Each offer box shows the date I checked its details. If the agreements change, I'll update this section and its review date.

Educational content, not advice

Everything I publish here, including the videos, is for information and education. It isn't financial, tax or legal advice, nor a personal recommendation to buy or sell any crypto-asset. I don't know your situation, your goals or how much you can afford to lose.

Figures, rules and platforms in crypto change fast. Every page shows its update date, and time-sensitive facts carry the date I checked them. If you spot an outdated or wrong figure, write to [to be completed] and I'll look into it.

Intellectual property: who owns what

Each part of the site has its own owner and rules:

ContentOwnerWhat you can do
Original texts, design and 3D rendersCripto Adicto (to be completed)Read them and share the link. To reproduce them beyond a short quote, ask for permission.
VideosTheir author, Cripto Adicto. They are hosted on YouTubeWatch them here with the YouTube player, subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.
Pexels photosTheir photographers, who publish them under the Pexels licenseWhatever that license allows, not whatever I say.
Third-party brands and logosTheir respective ownersThey appear only to identify what's being discussed. Mentioning them implies no endorsement, except for the affiliate agreements with OKX, Ledger and Trezor explained above.

You may quote short excerpts of the texts, citing the source and linking to the original page, within the limits of the quotation right in Article 32 of Spain's Intellectual Property Law. Copying whole pages, republishing them or using them commercially requires the owner's written permission.

Liability

I make sure the information is correct and check it against official sources, but I can't guarantee it's free of errors or still current on the day you read it. The decisions you make with your money are yours: to the extent permitted by law, the owner isn't liable for losses resulting from investment decisions based on the content of this site or the channel.

Nor can I guarantee that the site will always be available without interruption, whether due to maintenance, technical failures or causes beyond my control. I do what's reasonable to keep it secure, although no system connected to the internet is invulnerable.

The opinions in the videos are my personal opinions at the time of recording, not a professional assessment of your case. And whatever happens on the websites of OKX, Ledger, Trezor or any other company (their prices, their service, their incidents) is that company's responsibility.

Links to other websites

I link to my YouTube channel, my Instagram profile @cripto_adicto_, the community Discord server, the websites of OKX, Ledger and Trezor (with affiliate links) and official sources such as the CNMV, ESMA, the AEPD (Spain's data protection authority) or the BOE. Those websites don't depend on me: they have their own terms, privacy and cookie policies, and I'm not responsible for their content.

Under Article 17 of the LSSI-CE, if I become actually aware that a link leads to unlawful content, I'll remove it promptly. If you find one, let me know at [to be completed].

If you want to link to this site, go ahead. I only ask that you don't suggest a relationship or an endorsement that doesn't exist.

Rules of use

  • Access is free and open, with no registration.
  • Use it lawfully: don't try to damage the site, overload the server or get into areas that aren't public.
  • Don't use its content to deceive anyone, for example by pretending to be Cripto Adicto on social media or in messaging groups.
  • If you see a profile using the name Cripto Adicto to ask you for money or your seed phrase, don't pay anything and write to me. My official channels are the ones linked from this site.

Governing law and courts

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. If a dispute arises, I'll first try to resolve it by email. If that isn't possible, the competent courts will be those that apply under the relevant rules, without prejudice to the rights the law grants consumers.

I may update this text when the site, the affiliate agreements or the rules change. The date of the last review appears at the top of the page. If you want to know more about the project, visit the About page.

FAQ /

Frequently asked questions

Who is behind the Cripto Adicto website?

The owner is Cripto Adicto (to be completed), tax ID [to be completed], with an address at [to be completed]. For any question, write to [to be completed]. The site is the official page of the YouTube channel @Cripto_Adicto and its content is educational.

Is there advertising or are there affiliate links?

Yes. The links to OKX, Ledger and Trezor are affiliate links: if you use them to sign up or buy, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. They're labeled “Advertising”, carry the rel="sponsored" attribute and don't change my conclusions. There are no third-party ads on the site.

Does this site give investment advice?

No. I explain how crypto works and give my dated opinion, but I'm neither a financial adviser nor an authorized crypto-asset service provider, and none of this is a recommendation tailored to you. Before investing, read the risk warning.

Why are there no links to Binance or Bitget?

Because they don't hold a MiCA license and, since July 1, 2026, unauthorized providers can't serve clients in Spain. I only link to platforms whose European entity is authorized, which you can check yourself in the CNMV and ESMA registers.

Can I use the texts or images on this site?

You can quote short excerpts with a link to the source. To reproduce whole pages or use them commercially you need written permission. Pexels photos follow their own license and the videos belong to their author on YouTube.
