I'm Cripto Adicto and this is my website. Here I organize what I explain on YouTube, in Spanish: what each cryptocurrency is, where to buy it on a MiCA-licensed exchange and how to store it so nobody takes it from you. Risks first, and no promises that you'll get rich.

Guides to start on the right foot

Who I am and what “sin humo” means

On YouTube I'm @Cripto_Adicto, a Spanish-language channel for people who invest from Spain: I talk in euros, about the Spanish tax agency and about the CNMV, Spain's securities regulator. If you live elsewhere in the EU, the exchange and wallet parts still apply, because MiCA is the same across the Union; the tax parts don't. I describe myself in one short line, “passionate about crypto and technical analysis”, and since April 2026 I've been publishing Entiende Cripto, the series where I break down the most important cryptocurrencies one by one. There's also Bitcoin analysis, trading, rankings and, especially since summer 2026, a lot of security: wallets, licensed exchanges and scams.

To me, “sin humo” (no hype) means three things. No promised returns. Telling you the downside of every project, even when the video title is loud. And repeating what I write in my descriptions: “This is NOT financial advice. It's my personal analysis. Always do your own research.”

I'm not going to pretend I always get it right, either. In one of my September 2026 videos I put it bluntly: “I know because I screwed up at the start.” This site exists so you can skip those mistakes, or at least the expensive ones.

The three pieces of advice I'd follow if I started in crypto today, including the one about my biggest mistake: watch out for gambling.September 16, 2026· 123 views Loads from youtube-nocookie.com only when you press play.

How I work: dated facts, risks and clear links

There are hundreds of crypto sites that sound the same. These are the rules I follow so this one isn't just another:

  • Primary sources. What I say about rules and companies comes from the CNMV, ESMA, Spain's Official State Gazette (BOE) or each project's official site, and I link it at the end of every page.
  • Everything is dated. Fees, wallet prices and licenses change. That's why I write “checked on October 17, 2026”, or whatever the date is, and I don't give you coin prices that go stale within the hour.
  • License before marketing. I only recommend exchanges with a MiCA license that can operate in Spain. Binance and Bitget don't have one, and since July 1, 2026 unauthorized providers can't serve clients in Spain.
  • Advertising in plain sight. The links to OKX, Ledger and Trezor are affiliate links: if you use them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. They're labeled “Advertising” and they don't hide those brands' weak spots, from OKX's 2025 penalties to the customer data leaks at Ledger and Trezor. I explain it all in the legal notice.

When a fact changes (a license, a fee, a security flaw), I update the page and its review date, which you'll see at the top of every guide. And if a brand I recommend has an incident, I report it as if it paid me nothing.

Where I'm most careful is Security and Exchanges, because that's where a bad recommendation costs real money.

Where to start

The four sections of the site are at the top of the page. If you're not sure which one to pick, this is the order I suggest:

  1. 01

    Understand what you're buying

In Cryptocurrencies I explain what each coin is, what it's for and what can go wrong. Start with what Bitcoin is, the basis for everything else. For now, the profiles of the other coins are only in Spanish.

  2. 02

    Decide where you'll keep it

In Security you'll find the difference between a hot and a cold wallet, how to store your seed phrase and the scams that keep coming back. My rule: don't buy anything you don't know how to store.

  3. 03

    Buy somewhere licensed

In Exchanges I tell you which platforms have a MiCA license, what they really charge and how to buy Bitcoin step by step. Why I use OKX, weak spots included, is in my OKX review.

  4. 04

Follow the news without the noise

In the Blog I analyse what's happening in the market and in regulation, with checked figures, sources linked and no scary headlines. Posts are published in Spanish.

  5. 05

Before you sell, think about tax

If you're a Spanish tax resident, swapping one coin for another is taxable too. The basics are in crypto taxes in Spain.

Community: where to follow me and how to join in

Most of it happens on YouTube. Subscribe to the channel and hit the bell if you don't want to miss an episode: since May 2026 I've been uploading about two long videos a week.

In most of my long-video descriptions I leave you a question and a keyword to answer in the comments: “HOLD” or “TRADING” in the invest-or-speculate debate, “LLAVES” (keys) to tell me where you keep your crypto, “PRIVACIDAD” (privacy) in the Monero video. That's how I know what worries you and which video comes next.

I'm also on Instagram, @cripto_adicto_, and I have a Discord server; the invite link is in my video descriptions.

FAQ /

Frequently asked questions

Who is Cripto Adicto?

That's me: a Spanish-language crypto creator, @Cripto_Adicto on YouTube. I explain what each coin is, which exchanges hold a MiCA license in Spain and how to store what you buy, risks first. I opened the channel on September 17, 2018 and, as of October 17, 2026, it has 1.06K subscribers and 87 public videos.

Is what you say financial advice?

No. My videos and guides are educational: I explain tools, risks and scenarios, but I don't know your situation, your debts or how much you can afford to lose. That's why I repeat it in my descriptions: “This is NOT financial advice. It's my personal analysis. Always do your own research.” Before you decide anything, read the risk warning.

Which exchange do you use?

I use OKX, through its European entity, OKX Europe Ltd, authorized by Malta's MFSA under MiCA and passported to operate in Spain since November 27, 2025. My link is an affiliate link. Its fees, how buying works and its weak spots, such as the penalties it received in 2025, are in my OKX review.

Which hardware wallet do you recommend?

Ledger, and Trezor if you'd rather have an open-source alternative. Both have had customer data leaks, although none exposed seed phrases, so always buy from the official store and never second-hand. I compare them, good and bad, in Ledger vs Trezor.

How is this site funded?

With affiliate links to OKX, Ledger and Trezor. If you sign up or buy through them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. They're labeled “Advertising” and they don't change my conclusions, which is why I also explain those brands' weak spots. The details are in the legal notice.

Where do I start if I know nothing about crypto?

By understanding before buying: Entiende Cripto EP.01 and the guide what Bitcoin is. Then decide where you'll keep your crypto in Security and only buy on a MiCA-licensed exchange. If you want the full path, level by level, it's in Learn.
